Heidi McCullough

Becoming a therapist and opening my own practice has been my dream since I was 18 years old. With the right blend of heart, skill, and lived experience, I've always believed in my ability to create meaningful, lasting change in people's lives. After many years of detours (including raising a family and running my own group home daycare for nearly 20 years), that dream has now become reality through Anew Path Counseling & Wellness Center.

My years in daycare gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of family dynamics in all their beautiful complexity. That experience, paired with my passion for helping others, continues to shape my work as a systemic therapist today. I see how our unique life experiences (our triumphs, challenges, joys, and heartaches) shape the way we view ourselves and the world. Our relationships with family, friends, and community further influence these perspectives, creating the unique path each of us walks.

As a systemic therapist, my goal is to walk alongside you as we gently explore the pieces of your story. Together, we can gain fresh perspective, release what no longer serves you, and create a renewed path forward filled with greater understanding, hope, and possibility.
